SCOOP MOTOR MOUNT

 
bulletScoop motor mounts allow for direct coupling of large (364T and up) motors too big to c-face (up to 365TSC frame). 
bulletThe flexible spring support allows for some movement of the drive assembly without binding. 
bulletThe motor weight is taken through the springs to eliminate overhung load on driven shaft bearings.

 

 

NOTES

bulletScoop Motor Mounts are available only for models 415, 507, 608 & 700, and permissible only in the 6 o'clock orientation as shown.  Consult Dorris Company for dimensions of motor frames not shown.
bulletMaximum motor weight:  2500 lbs. w/springs; 750 lbs. without springs.
bulletMotor weight must be taken by a customer supplied structure through the two spring supports.
bulletCustomer to supply coupling guard and motor shim ('N' dimension).  Contact Dorris Company for shim dimension to clear vertical motor adjustment screws.
bullet'L' is the spring set dimension for motor frame shown.
bullet'B' dimension and 'C' dimension show position of high speed shaft with respect to low speed shaft.
bullet507TR 'D.R.' signifies Double Reduction ratios (up to 40:1); 'T.R.' signifies Triple Reduction ratios (greater than 40:1).
